Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2019 Haute Couture

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2019 Haute Couture

Chanel presented their Spring 2019 Haute Couture collection in front of ambassadors including Kristen Stewart, plus other celebrities (who I hope to see wearing Chanel in the future) today (January 2) in Paris.

Marion Cotillard: The French actress looked endlessly chic in her Chanel Spring 2019 look styled with Gianvito Rossi gold-tipped pumps. This might just be the first time I’ve loved those cycle-style shorts on the red carpet.

Tilda Swinton: The always effortless Tilda Swinton made this Chanel Pre-Fall 2019 look her own. This is the very definition of chic, because she didn’t try too hard.

Tessa Thompson: While the quilted bag as a necklace isn’t working for me, I love the simple vibe of her Chanel look. It seemed too be the theme of the day at this event.

Front Row @ Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Front Row @ Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture

There were a great number of fashionable darlings who descended on the Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week today (January 21) in France.

Mia Goth: Although sheer has been done so much, this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble had an attitude that spoke more of girly innocence than seduction. I think Mia’s fresh-faced beauty had something to do with that.

Rachel Brosnahan: ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ actress flitted on the darker side with this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 frock styled with a Dior Saddle bag. It was kind of goth, so I’m glad she kept her hair and makeup on the simpler side.

Kiki Layne: I love how glitzy sequins took on a whole new depth of form in this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble when paired with rich burgundies and burnt-orange suede. Of course, Kiki’s braids and shades amped up the personality of the look, too.

Front Row @ Miu Miu Spring 2019

Miu Miu Spring2019

As this was the Miu Miu Spring 2019 presentation during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (October 2), all the quirky front-row looks were present and accounted for.

Bruna Marquezine: The magpie in me was salivating over the embellishment in the Brazilian actress-model’s dazzling frock that walked the line between sweet and sassy. I love the deep royal-blue hue, too.

Juliette Lewis: I’m glad Juliette carried the winter-white coat to add a layer of sophisticated structure to the fun of this feather-bottom dress.

Olivia Palermo: If your eyes aren’t on sensory overload as a result of the leopard print, neon florals, and plaid, then I commend you. No wonder Olivia had to wear sunglasses.

Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet

Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet

Sarah Jessica Parker wasn’t the only one to make a statement at the gala celebrating the opening season of the Paris Opera Ballet on Thursday (September 27). Many others brought style in spades with black Chanel being the look of choice.

Stacy Martin: The French actress’s Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture gown had an otherworldly effect with the blue and purple sequins. The impact would have been stronger with her hair tied back and a different bag.

Ellie Bamber: Another one in Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture, she opted for short and voluminous. I fear this might have people asking if she’s pregnant given the unfortunate placement of her hand and the dramatic gathers on the midsection.

Stacy Martin In Sonia Rykiel & Chanel – ‘Vox Lux’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Stacy Martin In Sonia Rykiel & Chanel - ‘Vox Lux’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

We’ve seen a lot of Miu Miu on the red carpet during Venice Film Festival, although the one person I expected to wear the Italian brand was Stacy Martin, but she didn’t.

Photocall: For the photocall for ‘Vox Lux’ she joined Natalie Portman on the red carpet wearing a Sonia Rykiel navy suit. Classic and clean tailoring at its best, the shawl lapel, button-less blazer lends the look a contemporary finish.

Premiere: Much like Natalie, I was surprised by Stacy’s look at the premiere. Dripping from head to toe in tiny silver sequins, this Spring 2018 Haute Couture jumpsuit is an exquisite example of Chanel’s signature glamour. Usually more understated when it comes to her red carpet style, this was a dramatic change of pace. Styled with Chanel Fine jewels and silver platforms, even with the bizarre layered trousers, I did find myself swooning at this look.

Serpentine Summer Party 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

The Serpentine summer party was hosted by Chanel on Tuesday (June 19), so naturally many of the attendees wore runway looks from the French fashion house, with just one-re-run on this occasion.

Jenna Coleman: This Chanel Resort 2018 dress as a lot more detail than we’re used to seeing on the English actress. I did love the vintage aura, but I was also feeling like it as perhaps a little bit too big for her.

Stacy Martin: No longer pigeon-holed as the Miu Miu/Prada girl, the actress wore a bewitching lace Chanel Fall 2018 dress, but it was really the embellished Chanel bag which captured my attention here.

Anya Taylor Joy: If you are having a heavy dose of deja vu, that’s because Anya’s Chanel Spring 2018 dress has been worn by Mackenzie Foy and Rainsford Qualley. I love the cutesy spin Anya gave this look with her navy ribbon and matching sandals combo.
